We do not recommend repairing or replacing any parts on your garage door system yourself as every part is under tension. Without the proper knowledge and safety in place, the parts of the door could cause some serious damage to yourself or others.

The short answer is yes, you can replace just that one section as long as the model is still being manufactured and the rest of the door is in good condition. The long answer is that replacing just one section can cause your door to have a two-tone look due to sun damage on the original sections - depending on how long they have been installed.
